Our Project NEVER GIVE UP is an Erasmus+ KA2019 Strategic Partnerships for Schools. İt involves 8 partner schools from 6 different European Countries. This Project will last 2 years (2017-2019)

We want to carry out this project because:
Our target groups are the students having divorced and fragmented families. The rationale of this project is the increasing number of divorce events throughout our country and also in European Countries. Also, the aim of this project is to support the students who have problems with the school success, who have communication problems, who are introvert and having integration problems, who have socialization problems due to some circumstances in their lives.
We aim to prevent early school drops of our students by increasing their learning motivations. Domestic relationships, divorce, death of a family member, the attitudes of the parents against the child, parents' attitude towards school and child's school success expectations, child study environment and many other factors affect a child's school success. Failure is one of the leading reasons for children's school drop-out. Students whose parents are divorced, or students who have lost one of their parents have many difficulties in expressing themselves, having lack of self-confidence with showing their talents or most important of all is that perhaps they are not appreciated or their talents may be ignored by their parents because they had some quarrels home. All these negative effects bring the failure at school. Getting low marks, being inactive during lessons, not taking part in games or not being social make the students move away from their schools. This project will show at what rate there are students in these conditions, as mentioned above, throughout the European countries, what kind of problems they are tackling with, if these problems are similar to each country students or do they have different reflections.
The activities which are planned to be done in this project will help these students:
- to internationalize
- to generate motivation
- to gain self-confidence
- to improve their talents,
- to increase their school success
- to help them to socialize
- to broaden their horizon
- to gain awareness of the World around them
- to keep them away from bad habits like using tobacco, alcohol or forbidden substances
- to support one's self and encourage them to continue their education
- to encourage them never giving up in life and from their education
- to provide coaching and counseling
- We also aim to improve the students' and the teachers' knowledge about the diversity of European societies. Our project will be very useful to develop the mobility of students and teachers while developing the quality of Europe dimension of teaching and training.
- We aim to eliminate the prejudices between countries, cultures and nations.
- Our project will also help our schools improve pedagogical approaches and school management.
-. By means of different questionnaires, designing logos, brochures and Erasmus+ project corners, students will have a chance to develop their four language skills and they will gain comprehensive knowledge of games.
-They will widen their vocabulary knowledge. In live chats and learning/teaching/training meetings they will communicate via the target language and enhance their English proficiency. They will see and appreciate the importance of English as a foreign language.

Liceul Teoretic ”Miron Costin” Pașcani, Iași este partener în cadrul proiectului ”Never give up!”, finanţat de Uniunea Europeană prin programul Erasmus+, proiect de parteneriat strategic pentru susținerea schimbului de bune practici în domeniul școlar, proiecte doar între școli, acţiunea cheie 2, cu umăr de referință 2017-1-PL01-KA219-038729_7. Parteneriatul strategic, care se desfășoară între 1 septembrie 2017 și 31 august 2019, este coordonat de ZESPÓL SZKÓŁ OGÓLNOKSZTAŁCĄCYCH NR 16, Polonia și are ca parteneri școli din România, Turcia, Madeira – Portugalia, Italia și Cipru. Partenerii și-au propus, prin intermediul acestui proiect, să descopere și să diminueze, prin activități artistice și sportive, efectele negative pe care divorțul și condițiile sociale și familiare deosebite le au asupra comportamentului și randamentului școlar al elevilor.
          În perioada 23-27 octombrie 2017, 2 cadre didactice din școala noastră au participat la prima mobilitate transnațională din cadrul proiectului. Această activitate a fost organizată de către Escola Básica e Secundária da Ponta do Sol, partener al proiectului din Madeira, Portugalia.
        Fiecare instituție parteneră a fost reprezentată de două cadre didactice - coordonatorul proiectului din fiecare școală și un membru al echipei de proiect.
         În cadrul întâlnirii s-au pus la punct amănuntele cu privire la activitățile care se vor desfășura pe cuprinsul a celor doi ani de proiect, s-au stabilit termene limită ale activităților și perioada de desfășurare a celorlalte întâlniri de proiect. Următoarea întâlnire va avea loc în perioada 23-27 aprilie 2018 la Liceul Teoretic ”Miron Costin” Pașcani.
